Are you so busy that you do not have time to hit the gym and workout? With the fast paced life that everyone is leading, it is no wonder that you do not have the time for gym or exercising. Each moment seems to be spent either working or traveling and when you are free, you are so tired,that bed is the only option left for you.

  1. All offices and workplaces have lifts to take you to your floor. Let the lift go its way and you can begin to take the stairs. This will help you to burn calories and keep you fit. The best part is that if the lift is ever out of order, you will be easily able to climb the stairs while your colleagues will be panting.
  2. Don’t sit too much. Try to make it a habit of standing up while typing, talking and working. You may need some extra equipment to keep the keyboard at your level but it is worth the trouble.
  3. If you are a boss, needing to take a lot of meetings, then walk around when you are conducting it. Ask your colleagues to join you in your walk. If the meeting lasts for 30-45 minutes, you will have done that much amount of exercise. Isn’t this a brilliant way to getting some exercise?
  4. The biggest problem of this fast paced life is that you do not have the time to pack your lunch from home. Almost everyone depends upon takeout for their lunch or dinner. Try to pack something healthy for lunch or if you do not have the time, eat with a group and order takeout for everyone. This way, you will get smaller portions. It may also be possible that the group would prefer healthy food and your lunch with them would be healthy.
  5. Exercising alone is always so boring. Find an like minded partner for your exercise, who can keep you motivated and vice versa. The two of you can also buy equipments and compete with each other to see who does better. Such a partner can keep you on a healthy diet and you can do the same for him or her.

After following all this, if you still feel hungry, keep healthy food like Nutrition bars and tuna packets in your drawer. Take them out when you feel like snacking in between meals. These low fat, low carb foods will ensure that you are not putting on calories when eating.
