No diet will work in a short period of time if you do not couple it with exercise. You will want to get in as much exercise as you can. Make sure you park as far away from any building as you can and walk from your car to the building. Every little step can help work you towards weight loss faster. Make time in the morning or evening to go for a run, a long walk, a swim, or whatever kind of work outs you enjoy. The more you can do, the better. Just make sure to work out in moderation.
