Are you time starved?  Who isn’t right?  One of the most challenging things for people is to get exercise wedged in their day, let alone make a trip to the gym.  I found a great article about 10 Tips for a full body workout.  If you can spend 1 hour three times a week, this workout could be your tip to improving body metabolism, core strength, and you might even lose a few pounds.

Super Size Your Health with these Health Calculators.   If you want to know you body mass index, your ideal weight, how much smoking costs you or how many drinks you can have before you need a designated driver, this site has them all.  I enjoyed playing with the calculator that tells you how many calories you burn doing a favorite activity like walking, standing, driving, soccer, or even sex!

Fourteen is a lucky number.  On Monday the fourteenth islet cell transplant was done on a diabetes patient in Fort Worth, Texas.  As part of a clinical trial, procedures like this one could be one solution for patients that require insulin daily to monitor their diabetes.   Being a pharmacist, I have seen many patients with type 1 diabetes waiting years for medical marvels like this, but lets keep in mind that diabetes for most type 2 patients can be managed effectively with diet, exercise and discipline.
