Supersizeyourhealth tip #10 When All Else Fails, Cut The Carbs

Do you need to lose 10 pounds fast? I mean fast?

Well you can go to the extremes that Tim Ferris does or you can simply cut out the bread.

“But I can’t live without bread!” you say.

I guess it depends on how bad you want that bathing suit bod.

Cut out the bread and check your weight in two weeks and see how you have done.  You may not have lost all 10 pounds, but by the end of the first 30 days I bet you will be darn close.

Think of all the bread products that could be in your diet.

  • Breakfast is the champion of bread products, bagels, toast, doughnuts, danish, etc…
  • Lunch – sandwiches, buns, etc…
  • Dinner – sandwiches, rolls, buns, etc..

If you just cut out the bread, you can reach your goals fast.   Again, this doesn’t have to be forever. Just make slow changes in your diet to reduce the useless caloric intake that all those marketing machines expose us too.  

Another note on Tim Ferris and his blog, if you don’t read it you should and if you haven’t read The Four Hour Work Week, you should.  It will change the way you think about the way you spend your time.
