Supersizeyourhealth tip #8 Cut Out Dessert, Or At Least Cut Back

Oohh I may get flack on this one. But before you jump off the page and tell me I am crazy, read on.

I am not saying cut out dessert forever.  I am suggesting we approach this coveted treat with some thought.  What if you currently eat dessert at lunch and dinner 7 days a week, think of how many calories you are consuming.  You say you are trying to lose 2, 5, or 10 pounds?  How about we make some modifications. Like every new habit, you need to start slow. Cut out dessert 3 days a week at lunch, believe me, you will not wither up and die if you don’t have that cookie after lunch.  After you have broken yourself in on week one, then skip dessert at lunch all together. Add up those calories!  You could easily save 1000 consumed calories a week just by skipping those cookies at lunch alone.

The next step would be to do the same process at dinner.  Don’t forget though, you can still institute that FREE Day like I spoke of in Tip #5.

My formula seems to work well when I have dessert twice a week. Keep in mind, if you cut out other junk foods you can use these calories toward desert credits!!

Remember what Sam says in Transformers, “No sacrifice, no Victory!”

Can you do it?
