Supersizeyourhealth tip #5 Have a Free Meal Each Week
It’s Friday and what better day to celebrate a great week than Friday?
Here is what I have discovered, you work had all week and what do you want to do?
Reward yourself, right?
Now I am not suggesting that you go out tonight and have a whole pizza and a double banana split but lets be practical. If you have been disciplined all week by eating smaller portions, drinking more water, snacking on more fruits and vegetables, do you really think there is harm in having pizza for dinner and a sensible portion of dessert? I don’t .
No one can be expected to be a saint all the time, myself included!! Have a free day each week. At our house it is on Thursdays and the free meal is Pizza. The interesting thing is I don’t eat as much as I used to, it must be part of the habit of eating smaller meals. A few pieces is satisfying and makes you feel full. I also always link my “free” night with an exercise night, more on exercise in tip #7.
