Diet and Energy

There is a great post on StevePavlina.com about how Diet influences Energy levels. Steve looks back at his trials on eating a raw food diet for 30 days. A raw food diet is as simple as what it says – raw foods, nothing cooked.  A diet that is based on fresh, uncooked produce.  He states plainly that he is not out to convert you to a vegan diet, but it is interesting his takeaways on the choices that we make everyday and how they affect our health and wellness.

The raw food diet showed improvement in the following categories:

  • Increased physical output
  • Increased creative output
  • Increased social/emotional output
  • Increased sexual energy

While this is an accounting of a personal experience and not a clinical trial, I think it is interesting to point out that a poor diet has an impact far beyond your waistline.  It affects your energy levels, brain fog, and your creativity and endurance in physical, mental, and social environments.

Check out Steve’s post here and let me know what you think of his raw diet plan.  Could you do it?

How does your diet affect how you feel?
